CRAZY

I was driving home today, just now, enjoying the lovely sunshiney day when a familiar song came on Sirius. I don't know why it affected me the way it did, but I pulled over and stopped the car and layed the seat all the way back and turned it up as loud as I possibly could without busting the speakers in my car. My first immediate thought was...GOD I love this. And then I thought about how perfect everything about it was from start to finish. And I was laying there with my eyes closed and just could not stop smiling. It's not really the words that affect me so as much as it is his voice. That whole song with the strong guitar and his wistfulness is a feeling. I thought all those things in the short 3 minutes of that song which ultimately lead to laughing at myself. I can be such a drama queen when it comes to music and books. But...that's just who I am I guess.

I love it so much. And if I ever heard him sing it live I'd probably just fall over dead on the spot. I posted the video not that long ago and haven't really listened to it since. So thank you Universe for the excellent treat of a reminder today.
