Happy National Coffee Day Monday
I'm tired today. One of those days where I woke up just not in the mood or mindset to do any of the things I have to do. It's rainy and I'm weary. Mason is asleep right now, and so is Dakota. So is Layla. And it's actually quiet in here.
Our day always looks like this:
Except way less organized and neat. With a baby screaming just because he likes to hear his own voice. And baby poop. And baby food. A lot of baby food it seems like. And me, looking rough most of the time. With drool spots on my shirt and my hair pulled out of my ponytail or bun because the baby likes to attack. With everyone wanting lunch or breakfast and a drink and a diaper and a snack and a bottle and clean clothes and attention. Sigh...
I don't regret my decision to home school Dakota, but some days, really most days, it's a lot. It's a full time job to watch Mason almost 12 hours a day, let alone be a teacher of sorts in between. Ohh the things we do for our children. And of course there's the second guessing every decision I make. Is this the right thing, the right time, enough, too much. But it's one day at a time like everything else. This has been a crazy month for us. Savanna is on a work assignment. She's the supervisor at the Maryville post office for 8 weeks and it's long hours and weekends. That's been a total change for us and a lot to get used to. Dakota is home with me all day every day, as is Mason. I have basically very little time to myself. So when I woke up today, I decided to let them sleep. I needed a quiet minute. There's the rest of the day for school work and silly songs and meals.
I am on cup # 2 right now. Thank goodness for coffee.

I've loved these things today ♥ The whole day long
Actually that whole album ^ sometimes it takes my breath away.
He's fantastic.
YES YES YES!!
My love for this song has been renewed since the best night ever. I love the way this whole studio album didn't sound like a studio album at all. It sounds like they're on my back porch. ♥
And how happy is it that I think this is my most favorite version of this song I've ever heard, and I was there in real life.

Freebie Five is complete
Wednesday, September 24, 2014
1- Ian Somerhalder
2- Khal Drogo - Jason Momoa
3- Ellie Goulding
4- Benedict Cumberbatch
5- Kit Harrington (altho...Charlie Hunnam almost got his old spot back)
OK... I have a few things to say about this. First, let me remind, the freebie five is non relationship affection feelings. If that weren't the case the list would be totally different. Ohhhh I could do that list too just for nerdy fun! Anyway, #4 is kind of cheating I think because I have a crush on him that just keeps growing every time I hear him speak or smile or dance or laugh or basically do anything at all. I've always liked him but really didn't pay that much attention to him until Sherlock. HELLO!! He has a funny following. People either think he's super ugly or super handsome and I'm the latter. Yes, I know he's weird looking but that's part of his charm! And no I don't just think he's sexy in Sherlock. I thought so especially in 12 Years a Slave. Not particularly in War Horse but I loved him in that movie ♥ There's just something about him. He makes me feel very uneducated tho haha which would never work in a relationship, hence the place on the freebie five. Yes, I feel very good about this list.
Ok lets, just for fun. My love list.
1- Scott Avett. Always and forever with no exceptions.
2- Jimmy Fallon. I have such a big love for Jimmy. He makes me smile more than anyone. He makes me laugh without even saying anything. And he is SUCH a happy person it's contagious!
3- Kelly Clarkson. She'll always be my lady love.
4- Benedict Cumberbatch. Because I just feel like it. Smitten, I am. I'd like him to pour me some tea with those tea pouring hands.
5- Hm. I can't think of a number 5 right now.
I almost put Jack White as #5 but he's too intimidating. In a different way than Cumberbatch. But I do have a crush on him too. He fascinates me.
Well! I have spent my afternoon dreaming of the unattainables and now have spent entirely too much time blogging about them as well. My excuse....I'm sick and have nothing better to do.
And a few more things, cause like I said, I'm in bed sick and bored.

Best Night Ever 9-19-14
Saturday, September 20, 2014
Ooohh.
I know I can't explain how wonderful last night was, I just had to note it somewhere other than my brain. How perfect and amazing and awesome. I've seen them 4 other times and this was hands down the absolute best. By a million. We waited around 4 hours in line and it definitely paid off. I could not believe how close we were. That'll probably never happen again. It's a smallish place and Knoxville's a smallish city and I guess it was just in the stars.
My favorite thing tho was Dakota. I've never in all his 15 years of life seen him so excited or love something so much. Everyone around us was loving him loving it haha. He said it was the best thing that has ever happened ♥ I love when people that don't even know each other come together because of music. All the people around us, it was like we came with them. It was just the best time. And when I was cryin during Through My Prayers and I looked over at Dakota and he was teary I was so thankful for everything. Him, that moment, my loves up there, everything.
My favorite of the night was November Blue. Ohhh my good ness. I don't think I breathed.
I'm posting two versions because in this second one they didn't film Seth. Which is understandable, but I like seeing them both ♥ And the sounds a lil better I think. And....because you can just never have too many amazing versions or hear it too many times. ♥♥♥
AND THIS!!! This made my night!
I'm so glad someone got Seth's crazy legs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another favorite. There's never been a more beautiful person.
And then the tears came. I've only ever cried one other time at a show and it was really random. Jamey Johnson at Bonnaroo. But I could not hold them back even if I tried last night.
You can't see Seths face but that's probably a good thing. You'd cry too.
The one song Dakota was hoping they would sing, they did. Which surprised me! How happy!
It was the best. Best ever of the best.
