Super sad that I missed this. But so glad someone posted it. Ahhh makes me teary! I have a really awesome video of my mom and her sisters singing this song back in the late 80s. I love that video! I used to love this song as a kid and any time they would sing it I would be mesmerised. All my cousins were off playing and I was sitting in their faces watching them sing. LOVE!!

Freebie Five Update

Summer music!

I love new summer music. And fall. There's something a little extra exciting when new music comes out in fall or summer. This summers been extry exciting. Ray with Supernova which is a breath of fresh air and The Black Keys with Turn Blue which is just as awesome as I knew it would be. Jack White this Tuesday with Lazaretto, which I am SO very exited about. And then Jason Mraz YES. That's the best title ever. YES!! I'm so very muchly excited for this. Especially after hearing the new songs. Finally!!!! YES!! I knew he was still in there. And I can finally listen without associating his songs to his ex or his current girlfriend. Which is stupid to do anyways, but me and him go way back. We're thick as thieves and that's just the way it was there for a while. But I've gotten over it and we're back to being best friends and I'm ready for YES!! I've missed his awesome ass. Who even cares who he's singing about. That voice. It's one of the bestest things. Yeeesss!!
